Cooking Experiments

Yesterday we wanted to do some experiments on cooking. So we decided to make "jagar ka halwa". We bought 750 grams of carrot, one liter of full cream milk, 500 grams of sugar and some cardamom, We washed and shredded the carrots first, then poured one liter of milk in a cooker and added the carrot to it ans started boiling with regular stirring, slowly as the mixture started getting think, we added the sugar and cardamom powder and then stirred continuously for half and hour. We kept stirring till the mixture became very thick with no milk left over. We had enough halwa to serve at least 20 people.


In addition to halwa, we also made rotis and Paneer butter masala.
